40 Years of Dedication at Southern Smiles

Celebrating a Legacy: Angie Smith Retires After 40 Years at Southern Smiles

After more than four decades of dedication, warmth, and exceptional care, Angie Smith has officially retired from Southern Smiles of Sylacauga. Her career is not just a milestone—it’s a legacy.

From her earliest days at the practice to her final week, Angie has been a steady, compassionate presence for patients and teammates alike. Her commitment to the mission of Southern Smiles helped shape its culture and build the trust that generations of patients have come to rely on.

On June 20, 2025, the team gathered to celebrate Angie’s extraordinary journey with a retirement party full of smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude.

And to top it off, one patient — pictured celebrating with Angie — has been with Southern Smiles for 23 years. That kind of loyalty says it all.

Thank you, Angie, for your decades of service, care, and heart. Cheers to Angie for a career well-lived and a legacy that inspires us all.

Southern Smiles of Sylacauga is the Alabama practice of Dr. Rick Redmond located at 101 S Douglas Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150.
